The organization
ALADYR is the Latin American Association of Desalination and Water Reuse. It connects companies, specialists, public institutions, academia, and other organizations working across water treatment, reuse, desalination, and water efficiency in Latin America.
Its digital presence needs to support a broad mix of activity: institutional information, industry news, technical publications, events, membership, and resources for a growing regional network.
A partnership that started in 2018
FRANTICAPE has worked with ALADYR since approximately 2018, acting as its outsourced technology team rather than as a supplier for one isolated website project.
When a new need appears, ALADYR brings it to us. We study the requirement, research the available approaches, explain the advantages and limitations of each option, and then handle the details needed to put the selected solution in place.
Design and development that adapt to the project
Our role changes according to the work. For some projects, we are responsible for both the design and development. For others, ALADYR’s graphic designer defines the visual direction and we turn those designs into responsive, working digital experiences.
We prefer dependable existing solutions when they meet the requirement. When they do not, our programming experience allows us to extend the platform or build the custom functionality the organization needs.
A platform the team can manage
The public website brings together ALADYR’s news, events, publications, membership information, and educational resources. It was built so the internal team can update routine content themselves without waiting for a developer.
That balance is important: the platform remains approachable for its editors while FRANTICAPE handles the more technical work, new functionality, integrations, and structural improvements behind it.
Infrastructure and ongoing support
FRANTICAPE manages the hosting environment and the cloud storage used for the organization’s growing media library. We also take care of maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, technical research, and the implementation of new initiatives.
The relationship is ongoing. Instead of delivering a website and stepping away, we continue to provide ALADYR with a technical partner that understands its work, its existing systems, and the context behind each new request.
