A long-term technical partner
FRANTICAPE provides ongoing IT and operations consulting to the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Rome. The relationship has continued across the tenures of three Ambassadors, giving the team a consistent technical partner through changing priorities and day-to-day demands.
The challenge
Diplomatic work depends on technology that is reliable, secure, and straightforward for staff to use. Existing systems needed to be assessed and improved without disrupting daily operations, while new requirements called for clear research, practical recommendations, and hands-on implementation.
Our role
We work as an extension of the Embassy's team: investigating needs, presenting suitable options, and handling the details once a direction is chosen. The ongoing engagement includes:
- IT and operations consulting
- Hardware assessment and modernization
- Network improvements and technical coordination
- Endpoint security and system maintenance
- Day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and staff guidance
- Research, procurement guidance, installation, and configuration
In 2024, FRANTICAPE also led IT operations for the Venezuela Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, providing the technical support required for the project on site.
The result
The work has created a more dependable technical environment, improved network performance, strengthened security practices, and given the Embassy a single point of contact for both immediate support and longer-term decisions.
